Precautions
When replacing the drum chip, ensure the drum unit itself is in good condition. If the drum unit already exhibits issues such as OPC drum wear, scratches, charge roller aging, or a full waste toner compartment, merely replacing the chip may still result in print quality abnormalities or device error codes. It is recommended to perform chip replacement only when the overall condition of the drum unit is satisfactory.
Before installation, please confirm that the chip model, color channel, and printer regional version all match. A mismatch in region or model may result in the device failing to recognize the chip.
When replacing the chip, follow the original installation orientation of the device to avoid damage to the chip contacts or poor electrical connection.
