Disconnect the printer power supply, open the toner cartridge bay or imaging drum bay, remove the old chip from the consumable to be replaced, insert the new chip into the corresponding slot according to the orientation marking, ensure proper contact between the contacts, reinstall the consumable assembly, power on and complete the installation via self-test.
